How we got here
We started as a marketing agency. SEO, ads, content, the usual stuff. But we kept hitting the same wall: the tools we recommended to clients were generic. The workflows were manual. The "automations" were just email sequences.
So we started building our own. First for us, then for clients who saw what we were running internally. The marketing side faded. The building side took over.

Every Local Nerds project is founder-led. Reuben is involved from discovery call through deployment, not just at the kickoff meeting. He started Local Nerds after building 70+ AI agents for his own operations and realizing most businesses need the same thing: someone who actually builds the system, not just talks about it.
Before Local Nerds pivoted to AI implementation, Reuben ran the marketing side for years. That background means he understands both the technical build and the business outcome you're after. You won't spend your first call explaining your industry, he's already done the research.
